Rutilated Quartz Labret

This was such a fun piece to make. I wanted to write a little about it. This little beauty is 1/2" in size with a 7/16" length. It is a flawless piece of quartz with a very strong spray of fine, golden rutile and one long window down the entire piece. I purposefully made the front edge quite sharp. Normally we would round these off more like the other edges of the piece but this one needed to be strong. Following are a few more photos for your viewing pleasure.
